Rendering
I whish:

1) To be able to render over a transparent background, that is: No sky - no ground - just transparency, with or without ground shadows.

2)
To be able to make a selection of objects for viewing and rendering, hiding all other objects than the selected, except lights,
(Like when selecting "solo" on selected tracks on an audio mixer.)

3) To be able to render without sunlight, like when it's raining.

That's it... smile

Re: Rendering
1) & 3) Maybe not a perfect solution, but if you render at quality 2 you get a minimum of shadows. If you edit the saved photo, you can remove (make transparent) sky and ground easily with a picture editor. (But I agree that having transparency included in the colour options could be nice - there is some discussion about this in the forum discussions after the 4.2 or 4.3 release).

2) Not sure I get it. Couldn't you just un-tick the visible boxes in the furniture list for the objects you want to hide (?)
