Importing 2d drawings. Hello All. I am working on a large project on a very short deadline. I have the layout of the building's several floors(its a 10 floor hotel) both in pdf and .psd versions. Is there a way I can import these into Sweet Home 3d as a layout for my walls? or even import it on the worksppace then draw my structure on it?. I would like to do this because the plans are too complex to draw in the short time I have, given that all I want to show are a few equipment to be installed in the building. Please help me out |

Re: Importing 2d drawings. Sweet Home 3D supports BNMP, GIF, PNG and JPEG image file formats. Convert your PDF or PSD files to these file formats (useless to keep a high resolution), and then import the image(s) as a background image to help you redraw walls upon it. If you don't know how to convert them, you could also simply view these images and make a screen capture that you'll save. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
