Need assistance in creating a 15 sq ft X 40 sq feet house plan Hello Experts, I am newbie needs assistance in creating a 15 sq ft X 40 sq feet house plan. Basically i want to understand how the scale / ruler works ? and in reality we cannot have that big model on a computer screen but its all virtual i guess so just trying to understand the conversion from plan created in sweethome3d and in reality. Re: Need assistance in creating a 15 sq ft X 40 sq feet house plan If I understand you correctly, you need to explore how to zoom in and out. Note the +/- magnifying glasses in the top toolbar which zoom the plan window. In the plan window you can also use Ctrl+MouseWheel to zoom in and out. But you should zoom out before you start drawing walls, as some zoom functions are disabled while drawing. Once you have zoomed out, you can draw your walls. You can select and edit each wall later (at a higher zoom level / enter exact values for each wall). As for scale, there are several threads which will explain how to scale for printout. Adding dimensions can be useful if you want to share printouts. Hope this helps - if not, sorry, then I probably did not understand your question... ok |
