No lights impossible? Hi all! I have a problem: Whenever I create a room, there is always ONE light on the ceiling that I never put there. How can I get rid of that? To see what I mean, just create a room with ceiling visible, then take a snapshop "with lighting" and you will see ONE light on the ceiling that no one ever put there. Why is that? Best regards Dieta |

Re: No lights impossible? Please try my suggestion, as it will remove the unwanted light in the center of each room. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: No lights impossible? Well that removes every light. But I want my light there, just not the "extra" light. |

Re: No lights impossible? If in Create photo you remove the check in Add ceiling lights that ONLY removes the ceiling light. Nothing else. Maybe the lights you added are not real lights? Did you make them yourself? (difficult) Or did you import those lights? (not possible) If you used lights that come with the standard models in SH3D, did you turn on the light using the Light power? Re: No lights impossible? Thanks Hans for trying to help. I think the problem is not clear though: Create a room and make the ceiling visible. Dont add any lights to the room, just a plain room without walls, just floor and check "ceiling visible". Then you take a picture from inside of that room with "add lights" checked. The result should be a room without lights right, because you didnt put any lights in the room, right? But try it, there is ONE light on the ceiling. WHERE does that come from? I dont want it there. Different example: You create a room, same as above. Then lets say you put a light on the ceiling and take a picture from that room, same as above. Now there should be ONE light in that room, right? Do it yourself, there are TWO lights in that room, the one that you put there and ANOTHER light that you didnt put there. ==> There is always at least ONE light in the room, no matter if you want it or not. Re: No lights impossible? Dieta0815, i still don't understand what doesn't sound clear for you in the help about Add ceiling lights option. This option won't turn off/turn on all lights, but is for people who wants to add some additional lights at the middle of each room ceiling. If you don't want these ceiling lights computed by Sweet Home 3D and prefer to use only the lights you placed in your plan, uncheck it. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: No lights impossible? Aaahhh, stupid me... so the button should actually be called "add one general ceiling light" or somtehing like that. I always thought, that it turns on and off any lighting in the room. Ok, shame on me... I was trying for hours to get rid off that one light... lol... my god... Okok, I got it now. Thanks for your patience. |
