Anyone who wants to furnish a livingroom?I have a livingroom with a little different shape to furnish. If You think it would be fun to help me I would be very glad. Re: Anyone who wants to furnish a livingroom? Interesting. Different thoughts sparked by the same file. I am culturally biased, and assuming Lars is Swedish - therefore I think wooden cottage style (stugan i skogen). I reset the compass to Sweden to get the low light. I also think Scandinavian furniture, old fashioned Nordic wall-paper (Skepper-tapet) and wood panels. Some old stuff, some new. Direct access from kitchen to dining table. Just like Hans, I think the Staircase must be cased in and that I need to feel the basement and 1st floor. I left the windows and doors in place. Need to know more about the symmetry of the house before messing with that. I did add a kitchen hatch just for kicks, though. I also always think file size. My file is smaller than the original. Hans will know that I cheat, just grabbing my other stuff a bit at random just to show the Scandinavian effect. Re: Anyone who wants to furnish a livingroom? PPS - I forgot to mention that my one semi-serious thought was a desk similar to the dining table. That way you can seat 12 or more people just by moving the desk. ok |
