Opening the App I have an iMac running OS X version 10.6.8 and I've installed the App Sweet Home 3d and it won't open. There was also another reviewer who said the same thing which I ignored, silly me. Just wondering if the App is faulty or i"m missing something..? |

Re: Opening the App I've been reported that the version of Sweet Home 3D available on the Mac App Store doesn't work with some configurations under Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8, and it must be your case. This issue is due to incompatibilities of Oracle Java 7 with 10.6.8 and I hope Oracle will find a way to fix it soon. Meanwhile, to avoid this issue for users like you, I created a new version of Sweet Home 3D that won't be proposed in the Mac App Store if your system is Mac OS X 10.6. Miserably, Apple didn't release this new version yet. Hope it won't take too long now. Note that the free version that still relies on Apple Java works with no problem under Mac OS X 10.6.8, but you'll have to download and install all the additional furniture libraries if you want the same furniture catalog as in the Mac App Store version. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Opening the App After installing the 4.1, I only have a white window with a grey rectangle at the bottom right. Have also installed the additional furniture libraries. iMac 2011 - MacOS 10.6.8 - Java 6.0 |
