Snap walls and gridHello everybody! I would like to know if there is a way to snap walls to other walls, and also snapping object to the grid. Thanks! |

Re: Snap walls and grid Not sure what you mean by "snapping walls to other walls", but Sweet Home 3D lets you only attach one wall end to an other wall end at the moment. There's no "snapping object to the grid" feature. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Snap walls and grid Im sorry English is my second language, what I mean is if there is a way a wall can stick to other wall like magnetism. |

Re: Snap walls and grid I thought it did that, seemed to do so to me - when you draw near to another vertex point or the plane of another point you see guides, at least. To join walls, if I'm not sure they touch, I've been making them overlap slightly. However, snap-to-grid as an option would be useful when drawing shapes to a given size, would save checking the dimensions of the item afterwards. If it's not too hard to implement that is. It's a feature of many drawing programs which I find useful. |
