False ceiling at some rooms of the same levelHi, I'm trying to build a house with false ceiling on some rooms but I can't find the way to do it properly. This is exactly what I'm trying to accomplished: ![]() As you could see, on top of the inner door there is an air conditioning grille. That room has 250cm height but the next room has 230 height. I tried to set the height of level 0 at 230cm, add a new level with 250cm height and hide that room roof but from the level 0 you cant see the roof of the level 1 or there is no roof at all... I tried to use the level 1 floor as the false ceiling setting level 0 to 230 hight and level 1 to 231 elevation, 1 floor thickness and 19 height but this wont work either... The only thing I think is working is to double that walls that shares rooms at different heights but this is so ugly... What am I doing wrong? any advices? Thx PS: Sorry for my english :P |

Re: False ceiling at some rooms of the same level The idea is to create an additional level with an elevation equal to the one of the false ceiling. Please have a look to the SweetHome3DExample6.sh3d available in the gallery for an example. Don't hesitate to ask more questions if needed. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: False ceiling at some rooms of the same level That was exactly what I was doing but I thought it wasnt working because I didnt change the elevation of the 3D view and from level 0, the floor of level 1 is not showed. Thank you for your quick reply :) |
