Create hole in a wall
Is there way to cut a hole in a wall other than using a door frame? I'm doing some work with a very long wall and I want to insert a 96" glass wall. For a variety of reasons, I need to cut out the wall before inserting the 96" window. If I use the "door frame" model, I can cut a hole, but when I create a 96" door frame, I get these very wide door jams that I don't want - these wide door jams the interfere with some other things that I'm doing with the wall. I really just want a hole, not a door frame with jams.

Thank you.

Re: Create hole in a wall
You can use the Service Hatch included in the Software or import the invisible box model, selecting the Door or window option at the 3rd step of the import wizard.

Re: Create hole in a wall
Is there any way to create a ROUND hole? The suggested method does only allow to create square holes...

Re: Create hole in a wall
There's no way to create round hole for the moment. The only workaround is to import a 3D model containing a square shape with a hole.

Re: Create hole in a wall
1 - Import this model "as is", and check "Door/window" during importation
2 - Import this model "upside down", and check "Door/window" during importation
3 - Combine them to make a round hole in a wall.

Re: Create hole in a wall
export cylinder as obj, import it as door window. add to the wall to fit required position and make material invisible for the shape. this way you can cut any hole
