Re: Sweet Home 3D 3.6 Emmanuel, Fast test under Ubuntu 12.10: - text rotation works well for floor and floor surface, text, object name. - directory names are remembered correctly. Re: Sweet Home 3D 3.6 Will there be a update for Ubuntu Software Center or Ubuntu's Update Manager? I have several people using the program; some have windows, some have MacOS and some have Ubuntu. Unfortunately, the windows and Mac computer have version 3.6. The Ubuntu computers have 3.4. This causes problems. I tried downloading the Linux installer but it does not really intall. It just seems to unpack into a subdirectory. :) |

Please contact them and see how an update works. If you find information, don't hesitate to share it here.I have several people using the program; [...] This is too vague to guess what is your issue here. Are you a teacher with students? Re: Sweet Home 3D 3.6 Thank you for pointing out the BIG BROWN BUTTON. :) When I said, "I did not see that anywhere on the download page. I still do not see it." I was looking on the Sweet Home 3D download page. I looked for the install in Ubuntu's Software Central. Many programs can be installed through that program. The program can be installed there but it is not the latest version. For some packages the latest version is found on the main web site for the program. What surprised me is that the Ubuntu specific (well deb package) install of Sweet Home 3D (that includes creating icons) does not even have a link pointing to it on the main Sweet Home 3D download page. If there are versions for specific distributions of Linux it would be helpful to have links from the Sweet Home 3D download page to those locations. Thank you again for pointing out the BIG BROWN BUTTON. :) |

I just suggested the first result given by searching Sweet Home 3D deb on Google. Sorry, but I can't add links to every web site that proposes other versions of Sweet Home 3D for download.
