Re: MIRROR EFFECT Thank you Abenz and thank you Hans. The file may well be helpful to see what is different, the model not so. It can be shared as Hans's link shows or left click on my name to show my email. What i need is a large triangular mirror for a cabinet that fits under stairs. The earlier parts of this thread i find confusing, mirror, walls, light sources and mannequins.... just a mirror, Hans says mtl Emmanuel says not .... me....confused. Thx again to both, appreciate you taking the time to assist |

Re: MIRROR EFFECT @Mike53 Any chance someone could explain this in a step by step manner, i keep getting something that looks like frosted glass. Appreciate any help You must follow the steps cited by Puybaret. Download the rectangular mirror as a template. To sum up, you just have to add the prefix sweethome3d_window_mirror to the part of the object that you want to turn into a mirror in its .obj file. ---------------------------------------- EnkoNyito |

Re: MIRROR EFFECT Well.... that was easy, wish i had done that a few days ago. obj. file should end up looking like this.... mtllib xxxxxxx.mtl g sweethome3d_window_mirror_xxxxxx usemtl xxxxxx no need to touch the mtl. Thx everyone for the assist...Thank you Enkonyito ![]() |
