Missing "Create Video" tool
Hi everybody,

I've just installed Sweet Home 3D 3.4 on Ubuntu 12.04, and am liking it a lot so far. I'm able to create images without any problems, but there is no menu or toolbar entry for creating video even though such an entry is mentioned in the documentation. Is this a problem that anyone else has already encountered / resolved?

Re: Missing "Create Video" tool
You probably installed Sweet Home 3D with Ubuntu Software Center. I think their team removed this feature from the version of Sweet Home 3D they distribute because it uses JMF library which is free but not open source. Too bad they don't even say it on the page about Sweet Home 3D in Ubuntu Software Center. sad
Anyway, if you want to get this feature, please use the version available at the download page.

Re: Missing "Create Video" tool
Yep, I installed it through the Ubuntu Software Center. I've now uninstalled that version and installed version 3.5 from the link you provided. Works great! Thanks a lot!

I'm also confused as to why the Ubuntu Software Center doesn't make note of the missing functionality. I've filed a bug with them here:
