How do I add wodden beams? Just downloaded the program and started drawing the second floow of our house. Great program BTW. The "walls"/roof is leaning about 45% with exposed wodden beams above you head bit also the supporting beams going from the roof and down through the house are exposed. I'd like to add these in my model but I have no idea how to. I sued the serach function without any luck. Just to give you an idea what I mean, here is a lonk to a similar house construction. http://www.styleroom.se/image/scaled/normal/4ufp/1/324222-vind.jpg //Joa |

Re: How do I add wodden beams? In an empty document, add a plain box to the plan and resize it to the size you want for the beam. Export to OBJ format, then import the exported file in your main plan and rotate it at 45° during the second step (be patient, you may have to rotate around two axes). ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
