Applying a texture to a wallHi, I am trying to apply a texture to a wall as described under "personalizedTexturesGuide" published here. Since I have a basement I am not getting the expected results. It looks SweetHome3D reverses the texture based on the elevation set for the basement. I am attaching the image I used for the texture for the wall, and a snapshot of the results I am getting with SweetHome3D. You can see in level1 the texture of the wall is not what is expected. Any help!!! Re: Applying a texture to a wall Height: The elevation EL 0.0 by starting up and down,EL0.0→EL+1.0 and EL0.0→EL-1.0. Directions: measured from the starting point of the wall, Note the walls directions. Therefore, you have a convex ground of the basement, first floor is not in EL 0.0 |

Re: Applying a texture to a wall Textures are mapped from the bottom left of each wall, meaning the bottom left of a wall and the bottom left of the texture share the same image pixels. My guess is that the height of your wall is higher than the level height and the wall spreads on multiple levels. You should make a smaller wall at the lower level, then create an other wall at the upper level. Hope this is clear enough... ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Applying a texture to a wallThanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I did not get what do you mean and how to fix it. Please find below the details about a simple example with a basement (composed of two parts one underground and one upperground), and level1. Would please clarify what's wrong with elevations or the walls. Name Elevation Floor Thickness Height BasementBot -151 150 BasementTop 0 1 70 Level1 100 30 290 Height of Walls in BasementBot is 150, in BasmentTop 70, and in level1 is 290. What's wrong with this?
