Need Room Layout SuggestionHi all, I just made the design of my home using the latest version of Sweet Home 3D 3.4. And now my home sweet home design is completed exactly like the real one! Thanks to the new multiple levels feature! :D Great job! My home is not finished yet, the development still in progress, but now I'm thinking how should I layout my furniture first before they can continue the renovation. If someone can help me the best way to arrange my rooms is highly appreciated, especially my living room/mini bar and bedroom. This is the picture : And the .sh3d file: sh3d file in zip file Thank you very much! |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Very nice model. But arranging it from scratch could take hours! It's going to be difficult to find volunteers for such a long task! ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Thanks Puybaret. I'm thinking to use this layout, what do you think? Any suggestion? I updated the .sh3d file for this latest changes. I still don't have any idea where should I put bookcase, I want a big bookcase to store many books. Even though my living/family room is quite big space, unfortunately the center of the room can not be used I think, because it is the place to walk between the stairs and 3 doors around there. And the mini bar is also take a lot of space there. My home is minimalist design, I want a modern one, not classic or wooden one. |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Btw, my house stair is not like in the design, it's actually like the grand stair, but when I use the grand stair, it does not cut the ceiling above level floor, so I use this simple stair instead. Also I read you said advanced photo plugin is already integrated into version 3.4. But I can't see the menu, where is it? And also when using multiple level it is a bit difficult to make a good photo, because I need to view it from a far. If I view it from near, the top level is not viewable, I think because the photo view is not the center of the house but only the center of level 1. |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Hello...this is my first post here...I'm new and have not even done anything yet with this really cool program...but I was looking through the posts and this one caught my eye. paupau...about that big bookcase you want in the living room area...isn't there a blank wall where your staircase is...that's what it looks like in your floor plan...if so, why not put your bookcase on that wall under your staircase. If the stairs (or part of the stairs) is actually on the wall, you can build a bookcase on that wall in a pattern like the steps...going right up to the top. Just an idea!! |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately I use that space below the stairs for storage room to put cleaning stuff (broom, mop, etc). Anyway I already think to put bookcase in the family room, like this: room layout I also already completed all my home furniture layout. So it's time to start the renovation :) This is the latest .sh3d file If anyone has other suggestion to improve the flow layout of my home room, please let me know. Thanks |

Re: Need Room Layout Suggestion Nice alternative Hans! The stairs and windows is already built, so can not be moved. However the walls might still be possible to be moved. Your alternative give me idea. Thanks! |
