sun light is too weak hi, i have a simple question: i rendered several images without any lamps or other lights, only the sun from windows and i noticed the images are so dark. what im saying, i mean in the real world, when i stay in my room and the sunlight enter from the window, the average room light is much more than a lamp and i can see clearly and well illuminated all the room stuffs. so why the ambient is so dark compared to the real world in the 3d rendered images? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/703/234os.jpg/ with the advanced render is darker. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/545/2332d.jpg/ what im doing wrong? |

Re: sun light is too weak It's because light bouncing is limited in Sweet Home 3D, otherwise it would take too much time to compute. Please read also this thread for more details. By the way, please forget the advanced renderer, it's not supported anymore even if it still works. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
