how do you create a room with a half wall without the ceiling collapsing i have a plan laid out with a half wall (36'), which works fine in 3d view until i make the area an actual room. Then the ceiling pulls down to meet the half wall. i'll try to include a screen shot. how do i make the ceiling stay flat and ignore the 'gravity' of the half wall? thanks for any help. |

Re: how do you create a room with a half wall without the ceiling collapsing Gareth, Don't make a room by double-clicking, but by indicating the corner points one after the other. Draw one room where there should be a ceiling, and where the walls are of equal height (or at least 3 out of 4). Draw a second room where there shouldn't be a ceiling. I hope this makes sense. If not, send me your file and I'll see what I can do. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |
