3D preview no longer centered
While designing the floor plan of a house I'd like to build, something happened to the aerial view in the 3D preview pane. It used to be that the house filled most of the pane and was centered such that I could move my view by dragging with the mouse and see all sides of the house easily, as well as a top-down view. Now, it's like my viewpoint is several meters away and to one side. The house is always at the side of the pane with part of it off-screen, and is way smaller than it used to be as though the viewpoint was farther away.

It has something to do with my house plan's file as if I open a new plan and draw some walls and rooms at random, the 3D aerial view is large, centered and normal.

The virtual visit view still works as expected: nothing changed there.

How do I restore the default settings for the 3D aerial preview without losing all of my work and starting over? (Yes, I read the FAQ and the manual. :) )

I forgot to include a link to the screen capture that I took, so you can see what I'm talking about:

Re: 3D preview no longer centered
In aerial view mode, the view is centered on the middle of everything you added to the plan (furniture, walls, rooms...).
So either you created a big outside room for the garden for example and you should reduce its size, or you added a small item (furniture or wall) in the plan that you don't see at the scale you use. In the later case, the easiest to find it is to select Edit > Select all menu item and zoom out. Once you found the zone where it is, click on it to select it alone and delete it.
