extraneous triangle when viewing in the 3D panel (aerial visit), some of my floor create extra opaque triangles (default grey), which extend from the floor to the ceiling of a nearby wall. if i rotate the view, the extra panels may or may not disappear temporarily (depending upon the view. i have found this to go away if i unclick the 'display ceiling' box, but obviously there is something else incorrect or unaligned with my models. any idea? |

Re: extraneous triangle Marshall, The triangles are (most probably) caused by the ceiling(s) of (a) room(s) with walls of unequal height. Solution 1: Give all walls of a room the same height. Solution 2: Make the ceilings invisible. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: extraneous triangle thanks for this Hans. Making them invisible does the trick. FYI the room i was modeling is actually a patio off the back of the house, and attached to the main house. so there is a room of 1 inch height which allows me to draw a floor of brick texture. maybe i should not not use the house wall for a segment of my patio. |
