Re: render can be pause or resume Sorry Yudi, but I don't think you can recover anything. If you were computing an image, it's sure you can't recover anything (no temporary file matching what you see at screen is created). If you were computing a video, frames are stored in a temporary file but from my past tests, this file is valid only when the video is finished. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: render can be pause or resume fhoofman, you should always be able to send your computer to hibernate, therefore all the computing stops and you can resume after power goes on! macfrog |

Re: render can be pause or resume how about this. since the program can store store point of view, I wish the program can divide into 4 or 8 screen. each render screen that has complete, the program can store the screen in temporary. after all screen complete, the program can joint all screen. this is the simple method on my mind. but I don't know how to make it whatsoever |

Re: render can be pause or resume Good try. But on an optical point of view, it doesn't work this way! Test it yourself with a camera (on a tripod at best), and you'll see your 4 or 8 images won't superimposed nicely at their borders. That's why some people created programs to build panoramas like Hugin! ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
