Negative elevation Hello guys, any news about integration the functionality to handle "negative elevations" or "multi-level"? I know there is the possibility of simulating multiple floors by exporting each floor as an object and the import it back with an elevation; however, this has strong limitations in terms of "editing" as an exporter object can no longer be edited. On top of that, I'm facing problems with memory. I export the 1st floor as an .OBJ file that weights 64mb and I can no longer import it. Thx for your help, Daniel |

Re: Negative elevation Daniel, Maybe patience isn't your strongest point? I've imported OBJ files as large as 250 MB without problem. Coffee and fags make waiting more pleasant. Then, there's always the XMX trick to increase memory. Also, the way you organise your work can make design life easier or harder. If you install the CopyAsNewFurniture plug-in (pdf), you don't need to ex/import an OBJ file. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Negative elevation As I explained 3 days ago, don't expect any new big feature in the coming months. I have to earn money too. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
