Sweet Home says file is open
I have used SH3D for a while with no problems. I was working on a drawing and the program started to hang. I closed and reopened it and it tells me my file is already open. Older files open just fine.

I uninstalled the program and reinstalled and it still tells me the file is open although it is not.

I have restarted the computer as well but still older files open fine but this one drawing will only return the message saying it is open?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike

Re: Sweet Home says file is open
Michael,

If you have the latest version of SH3D, you should know that it makes a backup copy that you can use in case of a crash.

Check the directory (depends on your operating system) where your SH3D files (such as libraries, tetxures, plugins) are installed and see if you can either load or delete the last file there.

Check here where your files are, at the bottom of the page.

Re: Sweet Home says file is open
I have been using v2.6 for a bit with no issues. I ended up going into the file properties and using a backup that was about 2 hours old. Had to redo a bunch but better than starting from scratch. In 2 years I have never had this happen before so who knows, maybe just a system hiccup.

Thanks for the feedback but now I think I'm good to go with the recovered file,

Mike
