Can not save into a flash disc Hi, I'm new to this great SW and have following problem: I use windows XP and downloaded the SW3D version 2.5 Java Web Start with Java version 1.6.0_21 I created a file and already saved in my Laptop. Now I have to print it with another desktop PC, which is connected to a printer. So I try to save my file to a flash disc; but it always appear following text:" Can't save home in F:\...." I already try to rename it or even copied to a new file and try to 'save as' but it do not works. I can't also create a PDF file in this flash disc. It's great if you can help me to solve this matter. Thanks |

Re: Can not save into a flash disc I'm under Mac OS X so I can't test your problem because flash drives are handled differently under Unix systems. Could anyone with a Windows PC confirm this problem? The workaround is to save on your disk then copy the file to your flash disk out of Sweet Home 3D. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Can not save into a flash disc Mr Puybaret, Thanks for your reply. The workaround is to save on your disk then copy the file to your flash disk out of Sweet Home 3D. As your suggestion I do: Copy the file directly from my HD to Flash disk; but it appears:" ERROR COPYING FILE OR FOLDER ...CANNOT COPY {FILE-NAME}: the directory or file cannot be created " So it still not works. Another questions: I need only the plan. Can I save only the plan individually as a JPG file? Because I need only the plan for my project not the 3D. Thanks anyway |

Re: Can not save into a flash disc You must have a problem with your flash disk! Check if it's not write protected, check if there's enough free space on it and/or try to copy an other file. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Can not save into a flash disc No problem here, I have Windows Vista. Maybe update the USB driver? ---------------------------------------- ![]() |
