Re: Sweet home crashing when importing textures, furnitures....
Always mention what system and OS you are using and the version of Sweet Home 3D.
Did you update Sweet Home 3D or did your system get an update?
Does the same happen with a new project?
Did you install or update any plugins?

Re: Sweet home crashing when importing textures, furnitures....
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
I am using a Dell laptop with an Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255U, running Windows 11 Pro
(Storage: 954 GB, RAM: 32 GB, Graphics: 128 MB).
The version currently installed is 7.6.3 from the Microsoft Store.
As you mentioned, I tried creating a brand‑new project, but it still crashed.
I did not install any plugins.
I recently changed computers and purchased the paid version via the Microsoft Store.
With the paid version, the application started crashing.
I then tried the 64‑bit version downloaded from SourceForge, and it behaved the same way (crashes).
I also tried the 32‑bit version. This version does not crash when importing furniture or textures, but it is impossible to work with: projects take a very long time to open (around 10 minutes) and are extremely slow. The application freezes constantly.
More precisely, the app crashes when I:

Click “Choose a model” (when importing furniture)
Click “Choose an image” (when importing a texture)
Select File → Open when no project is open

When I say it crashes, I mean that the application simply closes.

Re: Sweet home crashing when importing textures, furnitures....
First of all make sure you have updated your graphics drive to the latest version.
If you have resident graphics management software running then turn that off. (see this post, same with the Nahimic service )
If the crashes persist redirect the program output to a log file that will hopefully list if and what error(s) occur.
See this post and/or this post on how to do this.
The exe path might be different but you should be able to see the path in the shortcut.
Check the created log file. If an error occurred it should be listed. Post it here for review.
