Base64 Plan Thumbnail Generation
Hello everyone,

Working on a plugin that can export SH3D maps in a format that's relevant for our project and for this task I would like to generate a top-down (2D/Editor) preview of the map as an image that we may use as a thumbnail.
This preview should be able to be either converted to or generated directly in base64 format.
This may include all the floors, or it may just be a view of the ground floor so clarity between vertical elements is optional.
The maps being used in this context are planned to only use the following homeObjects: Walls, Bookcases, Frames and possibly Boxes, but it would be nice to have future proof/generic furniture options.

Is there anything that's already part of SH3D that may assist in generating such a thumbnail or should I look for a direct implementation by generating a separate built preview using the list of elements?

Thanks in advance for your feedback, advice, or instructions!

Best regards,

Dragos P.

The export plan image plugin does what you want.
