Saving a furniture file Is anyone else having difficulty downloading furniture from 3D Warehouse? Every time I attempt to install a file using the âImport Furnitureâ option, my computer locks up. First, I download the Collada.zip file to my hard drive, open SweetHome 3D, and select the âImport Furnitureâ option from the Furniture menu. Select the âChoose modelâ option, select the zip file from my computer, and click on âopenâ. Once the icon appears, I select âcontinueâ. When the next screen appears, the computer locks up and goes into a loop, and the only way I can stop it is to force quit SweetHome 3D. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the SweetHome 3D app with no results. I have run disk diagnostics on my hard drive, and everything appears good. Any suggestions? |

Re: Saving a furniture file The problem is probably not with your OS (which one?) or Sweet Home 3D. The most likely is a corrupted furniture file. Try extracting the zip and import the extracted model. I believe on IOS that is the required method by default. The zip should have one or more 3D model files of the type .OBJ(+.MTL and possible textures images), .3DS, .DAE, or .KMZ.
