Display room surface area once a room is already created
Hello,
I just created a couple of rooms. While I was creating them, the total surface area was displayed. However, after having created a room, and giving it a name, I cannot see the total surface area of the room anymore. When I double click on the room, the "modify rooms" tab comes up, and the option "Display area" is selected, however I still can't see the calculated surface area of the room. How to display it, or get the info?
Thanks

I just tried to repeat everything you did. Everything works as it should for me. Try shutting down the program and restarting it. I don't see any reason why this would happen.

I agree with Mario, it's probably a fluke that is solved with a program restart.

There is a plugin that offers extra information concerning rooms: Rooms Information .
Direct download from Sourceforge: RoomsInfo-1.7.sh3p

Thank you for your replies. I tried restarting the program, also my MacBook, the issue persists. Perhaps SH3D has a limited functionality in MacOS as opposed to windows?

Re: Display room surface area once a room is already created
1. I suspect the area is under the room name. Try to move the name label.
Usually this not happened from start but could be possible under macOS.
2. Share a demo file and/or some screenshots.

in this image of the room, the room itself is selected, but no surface area shows.

the room itself is selected, but no surface area shows.

Also no room name.
1. It appears you use a mobile version. I'm not familiar with that.
2. In the middle of the room, the area (and?) the name are selected.
Try to increase the font.
Keep room selected and use +A button from top ANNOTATE.
