Recovered file makes SH3D crash at launchHello, I was working on a file, and I added a model from 3D Warehouse (probably too heavy) that made my file crash. I used "Force Quit" to close the software. Now, every time I launch SH3D, this file opens automatically as "Untitled [recovered]" and crashes the software. I am unable to close this file or open any other one. I thus cannot access SH3D. I have tried restarting my laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling SH3D, and opening it from the terminal, but nothing works. This "Untitled [recovered]" automatically opens when launching SH3D and makes the software crash. How can I prevent this file from opening so that I can use SH3D again? This is what my screen looks like when it crashes, as well as my mouse turning into a spinning colour wheel (crash / can't click on anytime). I am using the SourceForge SweetHome3D-7.5-macosx.dmg software on MacOS 14.5. I would appreciate any help, thank you for reading! |

Re: Recovered file makes SH3D crash at launch UPDATE! I found the 6.6 version of SH3D on my computer, opened it, it managed to at least launch the files (could see plan and items) before crashing. I then disabled all the background apps in System Settings > General > Login items, and restarted my computer again. After that, I opened the 6.6 version again and the recovered files didn't launch, making SH3D finally usable again. Finally, I redownloaded the 7.5 version and the recovered files didn't launch either. I can finally use the 7.5 version of SH3D again! Yay |
