Delete old textures
How do I delete old unused textures

Re: Delete old textures
On Linux:
In your user directory there is a hidden folder ".eteks" with a subfolder sweethome3d. Simply remove the old textures from the sweethome3d folder.
The textures are image files but with names like "Texture-some-numbers.pref". Switch to an icon view to see them as images.
Make sure to check "show hidden files" in your filemanager otherwise you will not see hidden files and folders (folders starting with ".").

If you want to remove a complete texture library you can find them in the subfolder "textures". A texture library is a zip file with the extension ".sh3t".

After restart the removed textures/libraries should no longer appear in the texture catalog list.

On other systems it will probably be (almost) the same.

Re: Delete old textures
thanks for the quick reply!.

I should have added that I'm using Win11, but your response was correct in a sense. The path in Win11 to the eteks folder is c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/eteks. Your answer gave me the clue I needed to track it down..

Again, thanks much!
