sad   3DS Max in Sweet Home 3D?
Can please someone tell me if it is possible to import 3DS Max models
in Sweet Home 3D?
As far I can see, it only is possible for 3DS, however,
I don“t have 3DS, I have 3DS max.

Magic:

Many people have searched, but it seems 3DSMAX is a closed format. Even a program like Blender can't import these files, even though they have a solution for "regular" 3DS files.

Cobra:

You should have a look at the open source program Blender . With this program (for Windows, Mac and Linux) you can import many file formats, which you can then export in OBJ or 3DS format. That way you can use many file types as a source for objects, that after conversion can be imported into SH3D.

Autodesk file types are DXF and DWG, which Blender can import.

Poser uses the file type OBJ. There are many "dialects" in this file type. In case SH3D doesn't import the files correctly, you can try to import them in Blender, and then re-export them as OBJ or 3DS.

Good luck!
