Re: Stair builder @Xlance and Dorin - panels are great suggestion (please, please) Agree! No panels was one of the main reasons I started creating custom staircases. I never liked the thin balusters of the staircases, because I often create staircases for large, public buildings that rarely have such balusters. You will have to find a way to allow selecting the number of panels above each other and its (individual?) height. Maybe from one full panel to max 3 or 4 panels. I bet the panels will be more popular than the cylinder balusters.---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: Stair builder Errata: While only today I've have a feedback from a macOS user you need to install this or this updated version. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It have to look something like this: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() @Keet & not only On the right last row I've insert information's related to the next level(if exist). At start, the plugin verify this and set the calculated thickness. Modifying the steps number, the next level indicator will warn you. When next level: 0 cm you have to be sure the last tread it is at the same elevation as upper room. Try with the test file I've provided. ---------------------------------------- A computer program does what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do. Re: Stair builder Hi Dorin Great work on this staircase generator! In my area, houses typically use the space under the staircase as a storage room. If you donât mind, would you be interested in adding a new feature like the one shown in image B - something like a concrete enclosure to close off the underside of the stairs? This would make it easier for us to build a sloping wall, as shown in image C. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NOP7Bv8uqcxHSOYH6B1pssXvhaxr9nSy/view By the way, thank you so much for your contribution. |

Re: Stair builder Thanks! In general, there are three types of stairs classified according to the construction material: wood, metal, and concrete. This is for wood, and you want something for concrete or a combination. It is a good idea to make some adjustments for this request. It's not simple, because it has to work for all types of shapes. I'll try to do it, but I don't know when. Right now, I'm working on another plugin that's putting up a lot of resistance to my one and only neuron. Thanks again. ---------------------------------------- A computer program does what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do. Murphy's Law When all else fails, read the instructions. Re: Stair builder @k005 About your suggestion made here . It's a good idea! I think will be possible in the future like is for Roof Generator.
