Colors and texture change after 3D picture Hello! I made an image. When I take a 3D photo, the colors and textures of objects in the image change. Does anyone know how to solve this? I've included images in the attachment so you can see what's happening. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/6udgbobru6zj7z...zq0oizmw3dgqk3di&dl=0 Hope to hear some solutions! ![]() ---------------------------------------- Tim Vh smarthome-specialist.com |

Re: Colors and texture change after 3D picture To make a "natural" looking picture, you have to add lightning. Easy said, not so easy to do. Read and look at some posts from GaudiGalopin3324 to see how he makes stunning pictures. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Colors and texture change after 3D picture To make a "natural" looking picture, you have to add lightning. Better make that lighting. Lightning is so destructive ![]() Sorry Hans, I couldn't resist ;) ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: Colors and texture change after 3D picture If you want the image to look like the "correct version" you need to turn the "Kwaliteit" down. That gives you renderings that look like the 3D viewport rendering. If you just want to make your "bad picture" brighter but keep the more natural rendering then you could start by moving the time and date to a time when the sun higher in the sky. At 8:00 am the sun is still low, hence the lower light. Put it to noon, and change the date to 21 June (Summer Solstice) and the sun will be as high as possible overhead, and it will give a much brighter result. |

Re: Colors and texture change after 3D picture Doh! I now see the actual issue. You have corruption in your bad rendering. Like the rug where half the texture disappears and becomes flat grey. OK, that is strange. It kind of looks like Z-fighting, but I've not seen Z-fighting in the rendering before, and you shouldn't see Z-fighting within a model like the TV, or the slat panel on the wall. Another possibility (and my best guess) is that your models have flipped normals for some of the geometry. This often happens with lower quality free models. The 3D view is "ignoring" the flipped normal, rendering the texture on both sides of the triangle. The Yafaray renderer is not putting the texture on both sides of the triangle, so any flipped normal is shown a base colour, and untextured. You would need to fix the models in a suitable modelling application if this is the case. |
