Wall panel inside door frame I have a door frame with a door in it around 80% the height of the frame. I need to add a simple panel above the door to fill the gap. Thoughts? |

Re: Wall panel inside door frame Resize a box and elevate it above the door. You can export the frame/door + box and import it again to get a single object with the closed gap. ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: Wall panel inside door frame Thanks Keet, you're the best! I realise these are stupid questions. I'm wondering where the generic boxes/panels are. When I search for "box", I get tissue boxes, crates, Microsoft gaming consoles etc. |

Re: Wall panel inside door frame OK sorted the generic box thing. Haven't got to your second tip yet. Thanks again. |

Re: Wall panel inside door frame Box is one of the default objects for Sweet Home 3D. When you search for "box" in the catalog it should be one of the first few in the results. Other default shapes are Cylinder, Triangle, and Sphere. There is also a plugin to create your own 8-point shape: https://sweethome3d.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,6600 And there's a Basic Shapes Plugin to create shapes like a pyramid, torus, etc. but the URL to that one seems to be missing in the plugins list. ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |
