How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? Hi I am creating a building and i would like to render some photos of different 3d views. Is it possible to set up a batch file which allows me to create certain viewpoints and then render images with certain settings from all the viewspoint one after another? Example: Set 10 viewpoint in the evening hours, when you return to your PC in the morning, you have 10 nicely rendered photos waiting for you. If this is not possible, i would like to make it a feature request. Olaf |

Re: How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? No, this is not possible. Yes, this is already a requested feature. Better still, it is promised to be in one of the next versions. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? Hans, I'm not sure you completely understood what Olaf requested because I don't remember anybody requested such a batch feature. ![]() Batch files aren't user friendly and I think it would be nicer to achieve this feature with a plug-in that calls PhotoRenderer methods for each location the user would choose first in the 3D view. Read PhotoPanel class to see how PhotoRenderer class can be used. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? Emmanuel, I think I read somewhere that you said that a future version will support making a movie of a trip around your house. I assumed that would come close enough to what Ong asked. You could always extract single shots from the complete movie, even though I realize that's not exactly the same as a batch file that takes a series of single pictures. Sorry :-) ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? Don't be sorry Hans, you're not wrong: a movie is a set of multiple images. ![]() ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How can I: Set locations for rendering photos? Hi well, batch was just a name for something automatic. I was just looking for a way to create multiple photos with a single command. Olaf |
