Creating Lights I'm working on making a light, but I'm not sure how to figure out what the light source x and y should be or how to change the brightness, aside from the percentage in SH. Here's how it looks right now - the light doesn't seem centered behind the lamp. And here's my settings from PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties name#1=Star Sconce category#1=Lights icon#1=/Star Sconce.png model#1=/Star Sconce/star%20sconce.obj multiPartModel#1=true width#1=20.32 depth#1=7.1602 height#1=19.33216 movable#1=true doorOrWindow#1=false lightSourceX#1=7.33333 lightSourceY#1=7.33333 lightSourceZ#1=0 lightSourceColor#1=#FFF6CA lightSourceDiameter#1=15 elevation#1=121.92 modelSize#1=7098412 |

Re: Creating Lights Thanks, that's what I figured after thinking about it. Any tips on getting the light placed in the lamp? |

Re: Creating Lights If somebody needs this in the future, here's the answer, which should have been obvious to me. To center it: make the LightSourcex/y/z half of the relevant dimension of the object. |

Re: Creating Lights Proof And you have to make the light color WAY darker than you'd think. ![]() Changing the color of the object doesn't affect the light color, but adding a texture may make weird black bars The final settings: name#1=Star Sconce category#1=Lights icon#1=/Star Sconce.png model#1=/Star Sconce/star%20sconce.obj multiPartModel#1=true width#1=20.32 depth#1=7.1602 height#1=19.33216 movable#1=true doorOrWindow#1=false lightSourceX#1=10.16 lightSourceY#1=3.5801 lightSourceZ#1=9.66608 lightSourceColor#1=#2b290b lightSourceDiameter#1=1 elevation#1=121.92 modelSize#1=7098412 |
