Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation I have two balustrades (designed and imported as .OBJ) which are vertically aligned. How can I select the lower of the two items in order to move it slightly. Selecting it using the materials/furniture list doesn't work as you cannot move it using the up/L/R/down arrow keys as this selects the next item up or down in the list. Help! |

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation Select the upper one, write down the coordinates. In the furniture list select the lower one and copy or adapt the coordinates from the upper one. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation You can select your objects in the furniture list, then right click and select the Align or distribute tool. You should find lots of options there. |

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation Right click in the plan where is placed your object and choose it in the Select object contextual menu, or make it visible in the 3D view, right click on it and choose the Select object item in the contextual menu. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation Thanks for all these great suggestions. I manage to solve this problem (in the end) by making the item on top 'invisible' by unchecking the box in the furniture list. |
