The main issue with the version of the Microsoft store comes from the fact that on a 64 bit system, it doesn't let you install Sweet Home 3D 32 bit which may fix some 3D issues for some users. I might change the way this version of Sweet Home 3D is installed on a 64 bit system to install also the 32 bit version beside the default 64 bit version, so users will be able to run either version. But at the moment, if the 64 bit version of Sweet Home 3D works on your computer, the version of the Microsoft store will work too. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: "Unknown" Furniture Category? Functionally, besides all the added content, is there any difference between 6.4.2 and 6.4.7 versions? I just changed my storage default "save apps to" location from C: to D: for Microsoft Store in case I buy it from there. When I installed previous things it doesn't give you the choice of an install location. I have all my apps and data on my non-OS drive where I have more storage. I just hate logging onto Microsoft Store. The last time that kicked me off my local Windows account and it was a pain to reset that. I like automatically logging on my home PC using my local computer admin account. Maybe I'm a paranoid computer tech LOL. From past experience, Microsoft Store version is installed in the folder C:\Program files\WindowsApps\eTeks.SweetHome3D_x.y.z.0_x64__y7v7etvrysvmm and I don't think you have the choice (there's no installation wizard). You can also get Sweet Home 3D paid version from Amazon but they don't serve all countries anymore and it takes more time for updates to appear there. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
