Moving Walls Hi, I'm sure there is a shortcut key or maybe there used to be as I recall doing this (and I can't find it in the User Guide or the shortcuts sections), but if I draw two walls of different thicknesses can I move or draw the thinner wall so it aligns with the top or bottom of the thicker one so there is a straight wall line between both walls? The default behaviour seems to draw a new wall central to the thicker wall. Imagine this; =====----- where the thin wall is lined up with one or the side of the thick wall. Hoping to reach out to someone who knows. |

Re: Moving Walls Draw one wall, use Split Walls to divide it in two section, use Modify Walls to give each section the desired thickness...? H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Moving Walls First, you'll have to cut paste the thiner wall to remove the joints with the thicker walls. Then you can move the thiner wall with the arrow keys, but if you want a precise method you'll have to adjust its coordinates. You could also look at the tip How to design wall recesses. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
