How to export the project to work with LibreCAD Hi! I am working with this kind of software recently, trying a lot of different apps. Sweet Home is really handy, does not require much knowledge to put the ideas on the paper (paper?). But it does not work with some aspects I will have to deal with in my new apartment project. I will have to remake the hydraulic system an review the electricity (also cable TV, ethernet, etc). So I will have to export my work to some 2D format and complete it with another app. I have researched about what there is in the market for macOS, and started to learn LibreCAD (people talk a lot about Sketch Up, but I didn't like it, simple like this). If I can draw some lines over the plant done in SH will be enough to me so I can estimate costs with specialists. I don't need detailed simulation, this will be done by the engineers, just need to draw the basic circuit. But I didn't find a way to export the 2D plan from SH so I can open it in LibreCAD... How can I do it? I also have some Adobe apps in a monthly plan, I use Illustrator, Photoshop and some others. There is Dimension, but is 3D, don't know if can be useful to me... |

Re: How to export the project to work with LibreCAD You can export 2D as an SVG image using Plan -> Export to SVG format. You could also print as a PDF-file, or make screenshot. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: How to export the project to work with LibreCAD Thanks, SVG opens a door to do this co-work with LibreCAD. I opened in Illustrator (so I can re-export to dxf) and it does not keep the scale. Maybe it's Illustrator that has a limit in size (don't know why) but it can be managed in this case, don't need precision, so I included a scale mark in the project to calculate it. LibreCAD is slower with the same draw, interesting... |

Re: How to export the project to work with LibreCAD I've answered here but I don't know why something don't work on macOS. Under linux usually work and also keep dimensions.
