Coordinates of exported models It seems that the coordinates for geographical placement on the grid is implemented in 3D models exported from SH3D. This results in exported models often appearing off grid when imported into other 3D applications, sometimes so far off the grid that it becomes impossible to locate them. Of course it's possible to move objects to 0,0 on the SH3D grid prior to export ( which solves the problem ), but it's easy to forget. So I wonder: Is there a reason for implementing these coordinates, and if it's mandatory; is it a big deal to make SH3D automatically set these coordinates to 0,0 when exporting an object? I have no idea if this has any impact on how and where SH3D places objects that are imported. I have not noticed that it has. Cec |

Re: Coordinates of exported models Exported coordinates are just the values in cm used by Sweet Home 3D. Centering them wouldn't be so difficult but it may have some impacts on some other users... ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Coordinates of exported models What about adding an option to the export window: Center exported model ? |
