Re: Wrong rendering elements
I don't see the high gloss level you mention.
See for example the table: Modify furniture, bottom left section 'color and texture', materials modify (the place where you have set the colors & textures). The slider in this dialog is for shininess. It is far to the right. Drag is to the left to lessen the shininess. (Unless of course you really want that high level of shininess.)

I'm sorry I didn't point this out, they are a little difficult to find. The invisible lightspheres are in a separate library you can find on this page. Do a page search for "LightShapes.sh3f". Download and import the furniture library and you will have the "Invisible Inward Light Halfsphere". You can shape its size in width depth and height and set the light power. It will produce light but the object itself is invisible. It's heavy for rendering but it allows for very subtle lighting of your interior. Use other lights with a lower setting, just enough to show its a light that's on if necessary, not to light the room. As every facet of the hemisphere is a light, remember that to direct the direction and spread of the light. A wide and shallow hemisphere can light a bigger area. If necessary you can even tilt a hemisphere.

The advanced photo rendering settings are a plugin. If you have installed the "Plugin Manager" plugin you can find it easily. I doubt that will make a difference with your black stripes.

Show us your photo rendering, perhaps it is recognizable what the cause of the problem is. And mention your Sweet Home 3D version, Operating System, and java version. (Menu Help, About, will show the java version.)
