Tools menu IT IS NOT a default menu item.
It appear only if you install at least a plugin which programed it(Cabinet maker, Roof generator, Advanced editing etc).
I didn't know that! I am so used to having the Tools menu and I don't remember ever seeing it without, even with a new install. Probably because the plugins directory is still there from the previous install. After 18 years using Sweet Home 3D you can still learn something new It appear only if you install at least a plugin which programed it(Cabinet maker, Roof generator, Advanced editing etc).
