A Room Within a Room That People Can Stand On I want to draw a “room inside a room” in Home Sweet Home 3D. Here’s the idea: A 16’ tall wall at the back. An 8’ x 8’ “box” placed against the back wall. Stairs on either side of the box leading up to a floor that people can stand on. A railing along the stairs that crosses over the box for safety. A door into the box below—the box is a room inside the larger room. I’ve already drawn the walls, but I’m having trouble creating a ceiling inside the box that can also serve as a floor on top of the box. Is that possible in Home Sweet Home 3D? Note: In Home Sweet Home 3D, the ceiling of a room doesn’t automatically become a floor for another room. A common solution is to place a separate object (like a box or platform) to act as the floor on top of the box. |
