Re: How to create an proper 2D FloorPlan and FloorPlanIcon
later then planed but here is an update.

Most of what I now understand/learned is already said in other words.
Below is my version for my case.

There are two thinks I now see clear
- if an object is not clearly visible on screen, then still it can good on print.
- All depend on the scale you need. In my case 1:250 and 1:500

Scale
The main thing is started to understand is that you do not need to see all detail on scale 1:500
I have an floor-plan from 133 x 44 meter. If all fits on one A4 do I really need to see an pallet (1.20 x 0.80 meter)?
People how are working on the floor will know what the small things are, but this scale is a overview so you do not need to see all clear.
For more details I use 1:250 then an pallet or pallet-jack is still small but you will know what it is.

Screen visibility
On the floor-plan we have multiple items that have a "problem" on screen, you need to zoom to see what it is, but on the other hand if I print the floor-plan there is no problem.
If the screen floor-plan is most important then you need thicker lines if you can not zoom as needed

For now i am starting to use thinner lines and then print both versions of the object and both scales to see the result, using pdf is nice you can zoom on any device, but on paper you can not zoom. That is what i need to see.

Thanks for all the replies I will write an summery of them in my notes.
