I totally understand how frustrating it is when the 3D and 2D views in Sweet Home 3D feel locked or difficult to navigate. Something that helped me was first installing the Advanced Edit plugin and then using the Pan3DView plugin to gain better control of the 3D perspective. For the 2D view scrolling problem: one workaround is temporarily placing a large, invisible object (like a blank wall) at the edge of your plan to extend the workspace. Then once youâve created the required space, delete that object. That lets you âpre-extendâ the grid without fighting the limit.
