Re: SH3D & Tools linux install & config -my way If I've correctly understand you want to move(copy) a Windows installation to an linux system. 1. Make a copy of Windows installation to an usb stick(fat32). Probably C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D or similar 2. Start linux system, download the official version NOT the repository version. 3. Extract SweetHome3D-7.5-linux-x64.tgz. Will result a new folder SweetHome3D-7.5. 4. In this folder double-click on SweetHome3D file. If prompted to choose if to execute it, answer YES. The program start. 5. Go to settings and make some necessary changes and save it and close SH3D. This will create all you need under /home/[user_name]/.eteks/sweethome3d/ 6. Copy your saved files from usb stick into corresponding folders. Restart SH3D. PS1 The editors jar files is refer to Furniture[Texture]Editor. PS2 Don't be so impatient. Sometimes(I don't know why) especially the new users, have to wait until their post will appear in the forum. I've encountered the same problem at the beginning. ---------------------------------------- A computer program does what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do.
