I realize I might be reaching the limits of Microsoft-related knowledge here, and I hope that some other experienced forum members might be able to chime in with advice and practical tips. I’m especially concerned about the alternative: even if I uninstall and reinstall everything, how can I safely preserve all my add-ons and libraries? There is a huge amount of data, and I would like to avoid having to reinstall or download everything from scratch. Copying everything back blindly might also reintroduce errors if some system references or paths are involved, since the error message must be coming from somewhere. Any additional help, suggestions, or insights would be deeply appreciated. Thanks so much again for your time and support – it really means a lot!
