Not a 3D problem, 2D massive slow-down on 'busy' project Hello I am using SH3D to create a neighborhood map, using a satellite image as background to trace the buildings and roads. I use 'walls' for roads, paths, buildings, etc because they can be bent unlike polylines into an arc. It's fairly tedious but the end result is nice. The issue I have been experiencing is only happening on the latest map. After placing most of the houses, roads, trails I am adding driveways to each house, also made with walls (one on each side). After doing a few of these, the program slowed down so much as to become unusable: Extending a 'wall' normally takes a couple of seconds (click on wall, drag the [+] to where the wall should end, longer wall appears), only now it takes 3 WHOLE MINUTES to stretch 1 line, and other actions are experiencing a similar delay of 1-3 minutes. This is an older computer but it is not 'that' old, Core i7-2600 processor and 8GB Ram running Windows 10. Do I just have too much going on in one model? |
