Re: Can light be dimmed at its source (or can the source be removed) w/o losing the effect of light? Great. Try to open my file, all the different light sources are placed there and you can analyze them by shape, size, power, color. Your own experiments are very good, but it may take too much time. Use my ready-made solutions. They work for sure. In such work, you need to do a lot of trial renderings in poor quality of 400 pixels in order to find the proportion of the brightness of the render and the power of the light sources. File Hey, it's been a while but I wanted to spend some time monkeying around with the light sources. I did get those lights and thank you for that. They gave me much more leeway, though I have really been struggling with it. I thought I was doing what was suggested but in my room, I'm not getting the color effects that I was hoping for. I wanted to get that nice blue cold light coming in from the window and a warmer light inside the room that made the walls warmer and closer to matching the color from the show. I've changed things up quite a bit, but I haven't even gotten changes that I can recognize, really. I was hoping you guys could take a look at my file and let me know what I'm doing wrong with it? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/8tyktt4ljrw46a...&st=22n7kbfm&dl=0 |
