Option to replace furniture I feel as well as the Modify furniture... it would be helpful to have Replace furniture... The chosen replacement furniture would replace the original item at the same X,Y, rotation and elevation coordinates. The replacement furniture could either be chosen from the furniture list or externally imported through the normal import furniture window. There have been several times when I have imported an external obj model, made some further changes (externally in Art of Illusion) to the obj model,then import it again, each time carefully typing or copying and pasting all the coordinates, rotation and elevation information. One further question if I may. Out of interest why (I know it can be changed) are the default walls only 7.5cm? I wondered if 20cm for internal and thicker for external walls might help encourage users to construct buildings to exact scale and because they will have to build bigger or nearer to actual scale it will help them have a better understanding visualizing room space when using the virtual visitor. Might also help users overcome the problem of building too small and then the virtual visitor (at the correct default settings) being to big to navigate the property easily. db4tech |
